Logitech Wireless Mouse

Great mouse, which makes sense because it's Logitech. I had the previous version before this new model and overall I like it.Style, form, and feel are more modern and I like that the control software has been updated and is more visually appealing and easier to use/navigate. It has a slightly lower profile than the previous one, so I find with my mouse pad with wrist support that I need to adjust the placement of my hand so it truly sits on top of the mouse. Not a big deal, total user preference, but something I noticed.The only thing I immediately didn't like was the mouse wheel. I've never been a fan of the smooth scroll setting for the mouse wheel, I like the physical feedback of the 'clicking' or what they call Ratchet fixed scroll setting. The difference between the old model and this one is on the new model the control button seems to be electronic, whereas on the old one it was a physical button you could depress once and it stayed locked. I guess I'm a hard wheel user and noticed it would switch out from the Ratchet to the Freespin setting on its own. Very annoying.I first thought I was accidentally hitting the control button, which is directly below the wheel, so I changed that buttons setting to None, but it kept happening but I figured out how to permanently fix it. In order to truly lock in the Ratchet setting you have to open the control software, go to Point & Scroll, and Disable the SmartShift option. This locks the wheel to whichever setting you prefer under Fixed Scroll Wheel Mode. Now it's locked in and doesn't switch out anymore!

I have a MacBook Pro 15" (2018 6 Core) and a 2017 27" 5K iMac. The logitech flow software just slides between them so easily and my productivity is through the roof! The software even wakes a sleeping computer. The button under the thumb rest which I left on Mission Control is the most convenient thing in the world. You can switch through your open apps so quickly. The auto scroll sensing is a dream and I find that is works right when it's supposed to. Plus it's totally fun to play with. The side thumb wheel for scrolling is great for long excel docs. Some people complain of the back/forward buttons being awkward. You get used to them. Battery life is great. I have had 2/3 bars for 4 weeks now. Yes it actually tells you the battery life right on the mouse! Comes with a micro USB in the box as if I didn't have like 100 of them. Still nice. Some people complain about the bluetooth switch being on the bottom... if you read the directions and set it up correctly then you should never have to touch them... Shocker! I highly recommend this mouse to people with more than one computer on their desk. :)

My family has a lot of joint problems in their hands, and I noticed with my current mice (Apple's Magic Mouse) my hand would cramp pretty early in the day. I personally love Logitech. I have their UEBoom speakers, an iPad keyboard, and a keyboard/mouse combo. So I typically start with them for computer accessories. I initially bought this one to replace my Magic Mouse at work. But, when I tested it out at home I loved it so much I decided to keep it at home and get a second one for the office. It's so comfortable in my hand I have no pain whatsoever. The buttons are positioned well and require just the right amount of pressure to function. It glides on the desk without annoying scratching sounds. It just feels premium - and works as such. Another Logitech purchase I am extremely happy with.

This is a very useful mouse. It has a large number of keys, which can be set by the user with the Logitech options software. The battery life is very good, I use it at work for weeks at a time between charges. There is a set of 3 dots on the side that indicate the battery life level. I usually charge mine when it has one dot left. I have not had the mouse run out of battery on me yet. The mouse also has a fairly long cable and can be charged while in use. The mouse would likely charge more quickly if they used a usb type c instead of micro usb, so that could be improved on going forward.This mouse is also able to seamlessly move from 3 different devices using a button on the bottom which has indicators for which device it is currently active on. I have only tested this using a usb dongle and bluetooth, but it worked quickly and out of the box. This is one of the greatest strengths of this mouse. It just works out of the box without much effort. The feel of the mouse is very good, its heavier than most are probably use to, especially if you are coming from a smaller wireless mouse. This is most likely due to the larger battery. I am someone with a fairly large hand and the mouse feels like the right size for me. It fits nicely into my hand and this means I don’t have to use a claw grip, which can make my hand uncomfortable. All of the macros are very easy to reach, keep it from feeling awkward. Although I found myself mistakenly using the side scroll wheel when trying to use the back button. While I am on the subject of the scroll wheel, the infinite scroll wheel is fantastic for quickly scrolling through code or emails. The mouse feels its best on a mousepad, however it works on hard surfaces, as well as my couch.The build quality feels very good, the textured feel of the mouse is really high quality feeling. The look is a plus as well.

Battery lasted 20 days right out of the box before I had to charge it again. I actually forgot it was chargeable until the mouse warned me I reached a critical battery level.Charged fully in a little over an hour.New features and assignable buttons are great. i love especially the scroll mode button as it solves my biggest complaint I've had with mouse scroll wheels by allowing for free spin or clicked spin.I have used this one for many many hours of graphic design and general computer use and it is definitely my favorite of all of the Logitech or any other brand mouses I've owned.
